Earlier this year we launched Startup at Boxworks—a collaboration with Bristol Creative Industries and Circus Journal giving people the chance to win a 3-month tenancy in one of our Boxworks studios, completely free of charge.
The idea was simple: to tell us in either a written statement, presentation or short video how having a dedicated studio space would help your business grow. We had some amazing entries from a truly diverse range of businesses from cutting edge STEM startups through to creative agencies. It was a very hard process to whittle down the entries, but the judges all agreed there were 4 standout ideas that should make our shortlist.

If your business isn’t listed above, do not feel disheartened. The entries were very strong and the decisions were not easy to make. What’s more, we’ll be opening up the competition again next year so there will be another opportunity to take part.

If your business is listed above – congratulations! Our judges will be sitting down to discuss their favourites and choose their winners over the next week. In even better news, we’ve decided to pick 2 winners rather than just 1, which means 2 businesses will be getting a 3-month tenancy!
